All-Med has expanded our patient base to include several large managed care organizations in the Florida market. Through these relationships, All-Med developed an innovative referral system to ensure expedient and quality care to our patients while controlling medical costs. We understand the importance of same day discharges, redirecting patients from the Emergency Room to a sub-acute or home setting, as well as, reducing the overall medical loss ratios. We have been instrumental in the reduction of bed days with our managed care partners by providing education.
All-Med has extended hours of operation from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Saturday. Our home care technicians and respiratory therapists are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to service our patients. All-Med has implemented a comprehensive on-call program, which includes all members of the management team to ensure consistent and expedient services. We have improved our service delivery process by outfitting each of our delivery vehicles in the field with “perpetual inventory” helping All-Med to provide products to patients quickly. In addition to being equipped with basic products, the vehicles have cellular phones and GPS systems. Utilizing our sophisticated technology, the technician can receive an order with details of the patient’s needs. Because of the vehicle inventory, additional orders also can be transmitted throughout the day, which eliminates the need for the technician to make a return trip to the warehouse.
All-Med utilizes United Parcel Services (“UPS”) to ship monthly maintenance supplies to patients. Through the UPS system, patients can place re-orders via telephone and receive their supplies within the next business day throughout the state of Florida, thereby increasing the access of services in all areas including rural areas.
As the leader in home care, we focus on providing quality care to our patients in an expeditious manner. At All-Med Services of Florida our patients come first and foremost.
